An Improved Sliding Mode Control Method to Increase the Speed Stability of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors

A permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) plays an important role in the operation performance of electric vehicle. In order to increase speed stability PMSMs, improved sliding mode control (SMC) method is proposed this paper. Firstly, process a PMSM divided into parts, which are torque closed-loop and control. Secondly, integrated with proportional integral (PI) inverter switching frequency adopted PMSM. Lastly, compared traditional SMC method, saturation function decrease fluctuation from 7.7% 5.9%, thereby increasing The results experimental test indicate that both starting increased by method.
